		<description>Dear Kelsey:

Isn&#039;t it possible just to order a new clutch cable, made specifically for this rig, that would come the correct size? How expensive can they be: $20? I carried a spare clutch cable on my 1986 BMW K75 for two years. After the wreck, I carried the same part on the 1995. When the clutch cable parted on the newer machine, you guessed it. It was too short by about 4 inches. And this discrepancy was discovered when everything was taken apart at curbside.

Life is full of surprises.

My 2009 riding season may have ended today. With 15 inches of snow on the ground, the local townships fought back with tons of sand and ciders. I regard this stuff as worse than salt (as it will not be dissolved by the rain) and wll lay in the recesses of curves until it is swept up next April.

There is a distinct advantage to having a third wheel in the winter.

Fondest regards to you and your husband.
