I spend a lot of time looking at travel websites of various kinds. Thanks to this habit, I often come across really wicked awesome travel opportunities that, for various reasons, I can’t take advantage of. I have decided that rather than just closing those browser tabs, I will start to post some of them on occasion instead. I may not be able to pursue them, but I’m sure someone out there is, and these opportunities sound so cool that I feel they deserve a little free advertising.
I call these opportunities “almost-free” because most of them do not cover the cost of getting to the location, just your expenses once you’re there. However, with a little creativity, most of these can be traveled to very cheaply. Anyway, here you go:
